





Union Minister for Labour, U Khin Maung Soe, accompanied by relevant officials, visited the Workers' Hospital (Yangon) in Tamwe Township, Yangon Region, on April 22 to provide encouragement to insured workers receiving medical treatment.
First, the Union Minister met with the Medical Superintendent and staff in the hospital’s meeting hall. He stated that during the ceremony for the observation of the President's speech and the taking of the oath, the President provided guidance to implement effective policies for the promotion of the health sector and the fitness of the entire nation.
He emphasized the President’s instruction to prioritize healthcare services that directly benefit the public and noted that efforts will be made to elevate both the education and health sectors starting from the foundational level. The Minister then inquired about operational requirements and coordinated necessary fulfillment.
The Union Minister then cordially met and greeted insured patients at the outpatient department and those admitted to the hospital, providing words of encouragement and cash donations. He also inspected the provision of hemodialysis services for insured workers at the Workers' Hospital (Yangon), providing guidance and fulfilling requirements as needed, it’s learnt.
