Inspection Trip: Union Minister makes inspections in Bago, Yangon

For the development of rural areas, the Government is providing from all angles, and all need to cooperate to improve the speed of regional development.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe made this remark at the meeting with locals in Yedashe Township.

During his trip, in Padauk Khin Village-tract, the Union Minister inspected earthen lake upgrade work, installation of 5.4 kilowatt solar system and 3HP water pump installation. And, he heard reports on issues including the ongoing Village Development Project, Emerald Green Project, Cash for Work Project and electrification.

In his response, the Union Minister called for efforts to encourage the production of high-value finished products based on local products. The local people need to take care of the solar and water pumps for long-term use, the Union Minister added.

Also, at the Department of Rural Road Development in Pale Myothit in Yangon, the Union Minister heard reports and stressed the importance of fire prevention, maintenance of machines, appointment of more staff and skills enhancement. There, he also inspected the machines.
