Inspection Trip: Union Minister inspects roads, bridges in Yangon Region

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay made inspections in Yangon Region.

First, the Union inspected the Hlaingthaya-Twante Road maintenance process, roads and bridges over the Twante Cannal to reach the Twante-Maupin Road and the upgrade work of the Twante-Maupin Road and gave necessary instructions.

The Union Minister also inspected the construction of the 2-lane concrete brige between the Milepost No. 20/6 and 20/7 on the Twante-Maupin Road, approaching road and erosion prevention process.

Also, at the briefing hall at construction site of Seikkyi Khanaungto Bridge over the Twante Cannal, the Union Minister heard report on construction of the Bridge linking Seikkyi Khanaungto Township with Dala Township.

In his response, the Union Minister stressed the importance of work safety and inspected the construction process. The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to the Dala-Twante Road upgrade work site to a concrete one and roads and bridges condition for Twante Township.
