Inspection Trip: Chief Minister inspects sunflower field, clay plant

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein inspected the sunflower field in U-To Village of Taikkyi Township and heard report on 2,500 acres of sunflower plantation in 55 village-tracts of the Village and 8,465 acres of plantation in the Township.

In his response, the Chief Minister stressed importance of successful plantation for cooking oil sufficiency in the country. He also called on concerned officials to cooperate for the successful plantation and irrigation for summer paddy plantation.

The Chief Minister continued his inspection trip to the Natural Clay plant in ThanDayPin Village of Hmawbi Township and heard report on products of the plant under the supervision of Japanese experts, fertilizer manufacturing and distribution.

The Chief Minster expressed efforts for development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and plans to create connection between the MSME entrepreneurs, consumers and relevant governmental departments.
