Inspection of Training School: SSPC member inspected training school in Sittwe

Member of the State State Security and Peace Commission and Union Minister for the Ministry of Border Affairs and the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs, Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, accompanied by officials, inspected the Border Areas Ethnic Youth Development Training School in Sittwe on Monday.

During the inspection, responsible officials explained regional development projects and information related to the training school. Based on these presentations, the Union Minister coordinated and facilitated necessary actions. Afterwards, during a meeting with staff, teachers, and students, the Union Minister gave guidance and instructions, presented cash awards, and warmly met, greeted, and offered words of encouragement to the staff and students.

Subsequently, the Union Minister inspected the school's classrooms, dormitories, canteen, library, cleanliness, and the seasonal crop cultivation. Continuing, at the meeting hall of the Rakhine State Office of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs, a meeting was held with ethnic literature and cultural associations, where the Union Minister delivered an address.

He facilitated necessary actions based on the presentations by the responsible officials and the ethnic literature and cultural associations. It is reported that support funds were also provided for the ethnic literature and cultural associations and the staff.
