






Union Minister for LabourU Aung Kyaw Hoe, together with the responsible officials from Yangon Region, visited the Yangon Region Skills Training Center (Yankin) in Yankin Township to observe and encourage the opening of the Motor Vehicle Engine Repair Training Course No. 4/2025, which was launched under the supervision of the Yangon Region Committee for the Elimination of Child Labouron December 4.
The Union Minister stated that the Ministry of Labour is working to enhance the job performance of Myanmar workers, promote skills development, and increase employment opportunities. He instructed training schools to ensure that trainees gain real, practical skills and to help them secure suitable and improved employment opportunities upon completion of their courses.
In the morning on December 3, the Union Minister and officials also visited the main medical storage facility of the Social Security Board in Ahlon Township, where they inspected the storage and distribution of medicines and medical supplies for Social Security Board hospitals and township clinics.
He instructed officials to ensure systematic storage, proper distribution, and to prevent wastage. Furthermore, the Union Minister and officials proceeded to the Tamwe Township Social Security Board Hospital to inspect, where they met with responsible personnel, inquired about operational needs, and coordinated necessary support, it’s learnt.
