Inspection Tour: Visit to No.4 Chemical Fertilizer Plant (Myaungdagar)

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin, together with officials visited No.4 Chemical Fertilizer Plant (Myaungdagar) in Hmawby of Yangon Region on Friday.

Officials reported on production process and maintenance of machinery. The Union Minister stressed the need to effectively use the natural gas, producing quality products. He also expressed his recognition for the dutiful work undertakings of the staff members for about 14 years period of production process.

The No.4 Chemical Fertilizer Plant (Myaungdagar) has been operating since 2010, and it needs major renovation. The Union Minister urged all to continue efforts for producing quality Urea fertilizer once the renovation process completed.

The Union Minister and party later inspected the production process of the plant, quality control measures and priorities for conducting major maintenance works. Afterwards, the Union Minister met with the staff and family members and provided the needs for welfare, education and health matters.
