Inspection tour: Union Minister visits Lahe and Khamti

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan inspected the land measurement for construction and upgrading of multi-purposed stadium with 400-m synthetic runway at the Shwe Pyitha Sport Ground where Naga traditional new year festival is held in Lahe, Naga Self-Administered Zone in Sagaing Region on Monday and instructed the needs and provided sports facilities for sport sector development in the Lahe Township.

On arrival at Khamti, the Union Minister and party looked into the township gynasium and sports ground and discussed the needs for maintenance of stadium, fencing inter fence and renovation of score boards.

The Union Minister then held meeting with officers and staff of Khamti District Sports and Youth Affairs Department and stressed the needs on having mutual respects among each other with family spirit, practing reading habit and taking their health care.
