Inspection Tour: Union Minister Makes Inspections In Yangon And Bago

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than made inspections in Yangon and Bago regions.

First, the Union Minister inspected the anti-Snake Venom Production Division in Hmawbi Township of Yangon Region. There, he stressed increased production of the anti-snake venom, disease-free horses nurturing, research and human resource development plans before observing the anti-Snake Venom production.

The Union Minister also inspected the No. 3 Plastic Factory. After viewing the plastic bags production process, he said that officials need to be able to increase production to meet the demand and to increase investment to provide more employment opportunities.

The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to No. (3) Heavy Industry (Thayawaddy) in Thayawaddy Township of Bago Region. He called for a systematic business plan, regular maintenance work, the use of quality raw materials and study of international techniques and training before inspecting the production process of plates and tiles.

Also, the Union Minister inspected No. (1) Textile Factory in Shwetaung Township of Bago Region and called on the officials to train the factory workers to produce high-quality products.

Also, at maize product factory (Yanpei), the Union Minister inspected the production process of maize starch and stressed importance of adherence to food production procedures.
