Inspection Tour: Union Minister Inspects Roads and Bridges

Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay made inspection in Mon State and Bago Region. In Mon State, the Union Minister inspected Mawlamyaing-Chaungsone Road and Thanlwin Bridge (Mawlamyaing) maintenance works, and, gave necessary instructions.

Also, the Union Minister inspected completion of Kyaikhto-KyaikKaTha rural tar road construction – the road is over 12 miles long and will benefit 6 village-tracts in the area.  The Union Minister continued his inspection trip to a bridge construction site on the road section of Bayagyi-Khaikhto of Yangon-Mawlamyaing Road and gave necessary instructions.

In Bago Region, the Union Minister heard reports on roads construction and urged the concerned officials to make efforts for smooth transportation. Also, he inspected construction of the 210 feet long KyoneKuu Bridge on ThaMeinBaYan-TanTawTwin-MaGaTit Road.
