Inspection tour: Union Minister inspected the sport grounds and stadiums

The Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan inspected the sport grounds and stadiums in Kayin State on Monday. First, the Union Minister met with the staff of the department of sports and physical education at the office of the department in Hpa-An, Kayin State and gave a guideline for the staffs.

Next, the union minister inspected the upgrading works of Zwekabin (Hlarkamyin) sports ground and instructed to carry out the demolition of decayed spectator stands and buildings in line with the procedures. Then, the union minister also inspected Aung Than Lwin State sports ground in Hpa-An and instructed to keep maintaining of Synthetic runway and football ground and the construction of roofed spectator stands in the east of ground as quickly as possible.

The union minister then met with the Kayin State Government led by the acting chief minister of Col. Myo Min Naung, discussed the matters on the cooperation with the ministries for the sports development of Kayin State and handed over sports materials to the acting chief minister. Afterwards, the union minister inspected Zwekabin swimming pool in Hpa-An and gave necessary instructions.
