Inspection tour: UEC chairman took an inspection tour to Thandwe

The Chairman of Union Election Commission U Thein Soe accompanied by the UEC members U Aung Saw Win and Daw Nu Mya Zan took a tour to Thandwe Township in the morning on 19th June and inspected the land plots where the district and township sub election commission offices will be constructed in ward-2 and ward-8 of Thandwe Township and the chairman of district administration council and officials concerned clarified the matters on land history and the UEC chairman gave necessary instructions.

Next, the UEC chairman met with the staff members of Thandwe and Kyaukphyu district sub election commission offices, chairmen of Thandwe district and township administration councils and members of district and township sub election commissions and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the Thandwe and Kyaukphyu district sub election commission officers clarified the completion of collecting population list and compiling voters list, acquiring land plot to construct the office building and status of constructing office building and the requirements for office and need for recruitment of staff members.

The UEC chairman coordinated necessaries and the UEC member Daw Nu Mya Zan supplemented the clarifications. After the meeting, the UEC Chairman and officials inspected Thandwe and Kyaukphyu district sub election commission offices and gave necessary instructions, it’s reported.
