Inspection Tour: SWRR Dy Minister makes inspections in Lashio, Myitkyina

Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Aung Tun Khine made inspections in Shan and Kachin states.

On December 5, in Lashio, the Deputy Minister inspected the District Social Welfare Office, preprimary schools and school for the youth.

On December 6, he inspected the rehabilitation camp for drug quitters and urged the drug quitters to learn the handicrafts with interest at the camp, take care of health and obey the camp’s disciplines.

The Deputy Minister continued his inspection trip to the store under the Disaster Management Department and called for continuation of disaster prevention activities, drills and awareness programmes. 

At the No.1 preprimary school, he met with staff and called on them to improve knowledge, sharpen skills, to be interested in the work and to complete the goal.

In Myitkyina, on December 7, the Deputy Minister inspected the District-level Disaster Management office and its store and gave necessary instructions.

On December 8, the Deputy Minister inspected construction of a building at the the rehabilitation camp for drug quitters and visited the state social welfare office to meet with officers and staff.

The Deputy Minister also inspected the Domestic Vocational Training School and met with officers and staff.
