Inspection Tour: Sports facilities in Mon and Kayin States inspected

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung visited sports fields and gyms in Mon and Kayin States on February 20. In Mudon Township of Mon State, the Union Minister inspected football fields, drainage systems, inner fencing, goalposts, and synthetic running tracks. He instructed to maintain the fields clean, safe, and well-kept daily.

Later, in Hpa-An, Kayin State, the Union Minister visited the Youth Center and observed youth leadership programs, summer table tennis courses, chess training classes, and vocational training facilities. He also encouraged teachers and students, and reviewed gymnasiums, football training sessions, and summer sports programs. At Aung Than Lwin football field, the Union Minister instructed officials to maintain clean, green, and safe surroundings, with regular maintenance tasks, ensuring fields are attractive for public use.
