Inspection tour: MOHA Union Minister took inspection tour

A member of the State Administration Council Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt. Gen. Soe Htut accompanied by the officials arrived at Sittwe in the morning on September 4 and the state level departmental officials clarified regarding the status of arrangements for the regional security and the union minister coordinated necessaries.

The union minister met with the members of police force and families at the office of state police chief in Sittwe, Myo Thu Gyi border guard police force (sub-station) and Kyikanpyin border guard police force headquarters and expressed words of encouragement, gave necessary instructions and tended the requirements.

During the trip, the union minister met with the officials at the state general administration department office in Sittwe, coordinated necessaries regarding the clarifications and instructed to collaborate the Pan Khin Project implemented by the Ministry of Immigration and Population and security matters.

Next, the union minister inspected fitness of the fire engines, met the members of fire service department and families and gave necessary instructions.

Then, the union minister inspected Sittwe prison, looked over the status of providing accommodation and food, water, electricity and sanitation for the prisoners, coordinated requirements and instructed necessaries.

In the morning on September 6, the union minister also looked over putting the household lists into the server using E-ID Software Programme at the Sittwe District general administration department office, met the officers from election commission, general administration department and department of immigration, queried necessaries, coordinated requirements and looked the data entry process into the server in detail.

In the afternoon, the union minister had a lunch together with the members of police force at the security force (sub-station) in Sittwe.

During the luncheon, the union minister gave necessary information on the military operation, security, regional situation and the movements of armed insurgent groups, held open discussion on individual desire, coordinated requirements upon the reports and cordially greeted.

Afterward, the union minister visited the staff housing, met with the families, tended the requirements submitted by the families, visited nursery school of police sub-station and provided necessary assistances.

Then, the union minister inspected construction of road and laying asphalt in the station compound.

During the inspection tour, the union minister provided foodstuff and cash assistance to the members of police force, staff members, families while meeting them, the foodstaff and cash assistance for the border guard police forces provided by the Rakhine State Government were presented together with the Chief minister and cordially greeted the departmental personnel and families, it’s learnt.
