Inspection tour: MoBA Union Minister inspected rural development works

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt. Gen. Tun Tun Naung together with the commander of Triangle Command Ma-J Gen. Ni Lin Aung,Shan State minister for security and border affairs Col. Sein Win on 7thSeptember inspected the constructing concrete road ascending to the BuddhaGarden in Pan Kwe Village, LwaiMwe Village-tract, Kengtung Township, the construction of clinic in Buddha Garden and instructed necessaries and fulfilled requirements.

The union minister and party, in the afternoon, visited border area national races youth development training school in Lwai Mwe Town, met with the teachers and students, provided school uniforms, stationeries and sports suits, cordially greeted the students and inspected the school compound.

Then, the union minister met with the headmistress and teachers at basic high school (Lwai Mwe) and said to provide teaching aids and requirement of school facilities with the coordination of related ministries and urged to put efforts for the education development of the students.

Afterward, the union minister and party met with the staff members from Shan State Development Supervisory Committee sub office (Kengtung), teachers and students from the Vocational Training School of Domestic Science for Women and border area national races youth development training school, provided school uniforms, stationeries and sports suits, cordially greeted the students and inspected the development supervisory committee office and training school compound.

In the morning on September 8, the union minister and party viewed the creek water pumping with solar power at Namg Khin Creek in Kengtung implemented by the ministry of cooperative and rural development.

Then,the union minister inspected the status of cultivating double crops with creek water pumping with solar power (Pilot Project) implemented by the ministry and coordinated necessaries upon the reports of the local ethnic farmers.

Next, Mong Khat-Moe Nyin Road 22/0 mile and instructed to upgrade the road as year-round usableroad.The union minister and party, in the afternoon, viewed the creek water pumping with solar power implemented by the department of rural development in Taung Thone Lone Village in Mong Khat Township and urged the local farmers to uplift the socio-economic life by cultivating double crops.

Afterward, the union minister and party also inspected the construction of MetKyan-Ton Kwan village road and Nant Aw Creek 25 feet concrete bridge, cordially greeted the local ethnic people and provided rice and cooking oil. Next, the laying gravel for one mile and 4 furlongs on the 33 miles 5 furlongs of Kat Htaik-LwaiPanTaung-InGoLon Road and tended necessaries,it’s reported.
