Inspection tour: Kayah State CM provides food stuffs

Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin and officials provided food stuff to the displaced people from floods and arms-conflicts at Ottarayon Monastery in ZayPine Ward of Loikaw Township on 4th September.

The Chief Minister and party also inspected Belu Creek overflowing condition. The Chief Minister stated that the state government is carrying out assistance for the people if the natural disasters occur. For convenience of the flood-sheltering people, basic food stuff will be provided and it is carrying out the security measures, electricity and water so also transportation which are necessary for the displaced people of arms-conflict.

After that, the attendees made reports upon which the Chief Minister coordinated the needs. Then, the Chief Minister, Security and Border affairs minister and officials provided rice, cooking oil, instant noodles and eggs to the displaced people from floods and temporary sheltering people from arms-conflicts.

Additionally, the natural disaster management department provided cash for rice for 41 people. Next, the Chief Minister and party inspected the condtition of water overflowing at Kandaya-Waddy and Belu Creek bridges, MinKyaung Lakes in Minsu Ward and some low-lying wards where he instructed the needs. The Chief Minister also looked into the construction of earthen-wall in order to avoid water-rising and erosion from Belu Creek.
