




Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win accompanied by region ministers, region, district and township level departmental officials inspected paddy cultivation and rural road development on 30th January.
First, the chief minister and party visited Hindu temple in Nattalin Township, Thayawady District, coordinated with the departmental officials for the renovation of the temple and provided 1 million Kyats for the all-round renovation works.
Next, he inspected 120,000 seedlings of perennial trees such as teakwood, hardwood, Badauk, Star Flower, Mangium and others nurtured in ShweWarMyaing nursery garden and instructed to distribute them not only for yearly tree planning ceremonies but also for the private individuals especially for the villages’ firewood plantations and to nurture more trees which is growing fast and shady such as mangium.
Then, the Chief Minister and party also inspected the thriving of Sunflower subsidiary crop on 50 acres in Kungyan Village-tract, Letbadan Township, making Embokashi natural fertilizer and gave necessary guidelines.
Afterward, the chief minister inspected the construction of gravel road which is one mile and three furlongs connected Yangon-Pyay Road to NweGwe Village in Thayawady Township and only road transportation access of 6 villages constituted 621 households and over 2400 population and instructed to complete within the timeframe meeting specified quality and standards.
