








Deputy Minister for Commerce U Win Myint Khaing, accompanied by officials, visited the PEB Steel Myanmar Co., Ltd. factory located in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, Kyauktan Township, Thanlyin District, Yangon Region, on the morning of June 6. During the visit, the Deputy Minister inspected the production of various steel products used in construction and gave necessary guidance and instructions.
Afterward, the Deputy Minister and officials observed the various stages of plastic containers production at the SP Petpack Inter Group Co., Ltd. factory, inspected garment manufacturing operations at the Guston Amava Co., Ltd. factory, visited the aluminum can production plant of Ball Asia Pacific (Yangon) Metal Container Limited, and toured the electronic equipment assembly factory of Lighting Myanmar Co., Ltd., where speaker coils and circuit boards are produced. He provided guidance and instructions as needed during the inspections.
The Deputy Minister and officials then met with members of the Thilawa Special Economic Zone Management Committee and staff from relevant ministries serving at the One Stop Service Center (OSSC) in the meeting hall of the Thilawa SEZ Management Committee Office. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of facilitating manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and rapid flow of goods, and increasing export volumes, it’s reported.
