







Vice-Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by officials, visited the specialized treatment centers at the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital (500 beds) and the Defence Services General Hospital (1000 beds) in Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region, on Monday.
The SSPC Vice Chairman visited officers and soldiers receiving medical treatment, offered words of encouragement, and inspected the Myanma Thar Kaung Advanced Veterans' Housing Estate (Lay Daung Kan). First, SSPC Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) and officials toured the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital (500 beds) and the Defence Services General Hospital (1000 beds) to visit the hospitalized officers and soldiers.
The Vice Chairman inquired about each individual's wound or illness condition, offered encouraging words, and distributed food and supplies. Subsequently, he toured and inspected the hospitals and the hospital compounds. Cash awards for the serving healthcare staff were presented to and received by the hospital commandants.
Similarly, the wife of the SSPC Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army), Daw Than Than Nwe, and responsible officials visited the Defence Services Maternity and Children's Hospital (300 beds) in Mingaladon Township.
They met with pregnant women, offered words of encouragement, and distributed food items. Afterwards, cash awards for the hospital were presented, which the hospital commandant received, and a certificate of honor was presented in return. Later, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and officials arrived at the Myanma Thar Kaung Advanced Veterans' Housing Estate (Lay Daung Kan) in Dagon Myothit (South).
They were welcomed by the Yangon Region Chief Minister and officials. At the briefing hall, responsible officials presented an explanation of the work carried out regarding the housing estate. The Vice-Chairman provided necessary guidance and instructions and coordinated with the responsible officials.
Following that, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and officials toured and inspected the completed buildings within the veterans' housing estate and the apartments where veterans and their family members are residing. They also inspected the beginning of a layer hen farming operation with 350 hens using an Evaporated Fully Automatic System within the estate and gave necessary instructions. Subsequently, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and officials visited the kindergarten opened within the veterans' housing estate.
They distributed nutritional supplements and support funds to the children. They then toured the estate by motor vehicle for inspection and warmly greeted and offered words of encouragement to the veterans and their family members living in the estate.
Continuing, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and officials visited the Shopping Complex construction site located at the corner of Bayint Naung Road and No. (7) Road near the Myanma Thar Kaung Advanced Veterans' Housing Estate (Lay Daung Kan). Based on presentations by responsible officials in the briefing hall, the Vice-Chairman gave necessary guidance and instructions and inspected the construction progress of the Shopping Complex.
