Inspection of Sports Trainings : MOC Chairman inspected sports trainings in Yangon

Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee and Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, accompanied by responsible officials, visited and inspected the sports teams training at their camps in Yangon on October 25th to ensure their systematic participation and success in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games.

First, the Union Minister and officials visited the training venue of the Myanmar Teqball Sports Federation at the Kyaikkasan Sports Ground within the Institute of Sports and Physical Education (Yangon) in Tamwe Township, Yangon Region. They observed the training of preliminary selected Teqball athletes, the training for the Event-3 (Men/Women) competition styles at the Chinlone sports arena, and the training of preliminary selected Pencak Silat athletes in single artistic, double artistic, and sparring disciplines at the Pencak Silat sports arena.

Subsequently, they proceeded to the Myanmar Billiards and Snooker training hall at National Sports Stadium (1) Thuwunna. They watched the trial matches of the preliminary selected Billiards and Snooker athletes, encouraged them, and urged them to strive to win successful medals.

The Union Minister then presented honorary cash awards to the administrators, coaches, and athletes. Afterwards, Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with Yangon Region Government Chief Minister U Soe Thein, attended the final match and award ceremony of the 2025 Regions and States Women's U-25 Football Tournament held at the Thuwunna Football Field, Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region.

They watched the final match between the Kayin State team and the Mon State team, which the Kayin State team won by 3 goals to 1. During the award ceremony, individual medals were presented to the Best Player award winners, the Yangon Region team who won the fourth prize, the Ayeyarwady Region team who won the third prize, the Mon State team who won the second prize, and the Kayin State team who won the first prize.

Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taung, then presented the cash prize and the Women's Champions Cup to the Kayin State team who won the first prize, and a group photo was taken.
