Inspection of Schools: MoE UM inspected schools in Lewe Township

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, together with the responsible officials, visited Thekawgyi Basic Education High School in Lewe Township on the morning of August 19. There, she observed the peaceful learning environment of the students and offered words of encouragement.

Next, during a meeting with the school principal and teachers, the Union Minister said that the purpose of the visit was to provide support for the needs of the school. She urged teachers to serve as role models in nurturing good character, patriotism, and a strong sense of national spirit among students. She also encouraged teachers to take the lead in promoting library-based learning, to create effective programs for students to engage in individual or group discussions, and to instill good reading habits.

The Union Minister then proceeded to Inntha Basic Education High School (Branch), where she visited classrooms, observed the students’ learning activities, and delivered words of encouragement.

Following this, the Union Minister met cordially with the school principal and teachers to discuss matters related to improving school discipline, maintaining a clean and pleasant environment, teaching and learning processes, school management, and overall school development. She also arranged to provide necessary support where required.
