Inspection of Regional Development: Yangon Region CM inspected regional dev. in Taikkyi

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, region ministers and officials concerned conducted a field inspection in the afternoon of March 9 to examine the development situation in Taikkyi Township, Taikkyi District, Yangon Region.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials inspected the livestock farms owned by individual operators and companies within the Taikkyi Livestock Breeding Zone, where they examined the rearing conditions of local cattle, goats, broiler chickens, and fattening pigs. They also inspected the cultivation of napier grass varieties and other animal feed crops, as well as the progress of farm construction. Responsible officials reported on the ongoing activities, and the Regional Chief Minister provided guidance, urging livestock breeders to expand production to ensure food security within the region and to increase the cultivation of animal feed crops.

Subsequently, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials traveled by vehicle through the Taikkyi Livestock Breeding Zone to observe the livestock operations in different sectors and the cultivation of napier grass varieties and animal feed crops, it’s reported.
