






Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, accompanied by the responsible officials, inspected Tamwe Township Chief Office of the Ministry of Immigration and Population in Yangon Region on December 8.
Union Minister observed and encouraged the ongoing implementation of Phase 3 of the "Pan Khin" project. The Office Staff are assisting local residents with household registration and issuing damaged/lost Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSCs) or for those who have not yet received their CSCs. The Union Minister warmly greeted the local residents who came to utilize the services and coordinated necessary actions with responsible personnel.
Following this, the Union Minister and officials observed and encouraged the staff's work processes. They are providing one-stop services in accordance with procedures under Phase 3 of the " Pan Khin " project to issue household registrations and Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSCs). They also observed the status of using the e-ID system to collect biographic/biometric data from citizens who have received their CSCs, assigning them a Unique ID number simultaneously.
Subsequently, the Union Minister inspected the maintenance of office documents, equipment within the township office and its rooms, and the systematic preservation of personal records in the record-keeping room. He instructed officials to ensure the security of documents and equipment, and to coordinate and integrate with relevant departments for the timely completion of department-related immediate priority tasks within the set timeframe to ensure the successful conduct of the upcoming election. He also coordinated necessary actions and provided food supplies for the staff.
Afterwards, the Union Minister held a meeting at the Township Chief's office with responsible officials from the District and Township Level General Administration Departments, the Sub Election Commissions, and the Ministry of Immigration and Population. He instructed them to coordinate and integrate efforts among relevant departments to ensure the accuracy of the voter list and the success of the upcoming election. He also addressed and facilitated necessary actions based on the presentations made by the responsible officials.
