





Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Information U Ye Tint visited the offices of the Information and Public Relations Department in Sintgaing Township, Kyaukse District, Kyaukpadaung Township, and Chauk Township. He inspected the offices and libraries, met with staff, and gave necessary instructions, on August 17.
In the morning on August 18, The Deputy Minister visited Basic Education High School No. 2 in Chauk. He encouraged the students in their studies and, in the school hall, addressed the teachers and students, giving guidance on improving educational standards and on youth affairs.
Next, the Deputy Minister presented books donated by the Ministry of Information and sports equipment from the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs to the school library. The headmistress and the District Education Officer received the donations, and the Township Education Officer expressed his gratitude. The Deputy Minister then cordially greeted and encouraged the teachers, parents, students, and outstanding students.
In the afternoon, the Deputy Minister met with Ministry of Information staff at the Yenangyaung Township office, with staff from Magway and Minbu districts at the Magway District office, and with staff at the Myothit Township office. He instructed them to work diligently as good public servants in accordance with their ethics and pledges, to continue youth awareness programs without losing momentum, and to actively participate in their respective roles for the successful holding of the upcoming multi-party democracy general election. He also coordinated and addressed the issues raised by the staff.
