

The Union Minister for Hotel and Tourism Dr. Htay Aung inspected State Guest House Zone which are giving services in line with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures issued by the ministry of health in Dakkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Wednesday.
First, the hotel general managers reported the hotels rendering services in line with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and the status of guests staying at the hotels.
Then, the union minister said that the national guest house zone is being constructed with large amount of investment keeping international standards to hold the national level ceremonies, meetings and lodging. The government has constructed Myanmar International Convention Centers together with the hotels to organize the national level meetings and ceremonies.
As Nay Pyi Taw is the capital city of the country and the arrangements are being made to hold the ceremonies, meetings and expos extensively, the hotels need to carry out preparations to render services in line with the COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures.
In such a low season, the capacity building of the staff, preparations for the future work plans and being readiness to give services to the guests at any time should be carried out.
The staff are needed to inoculate fully.
As the arrangements of local level certification have been completed, the national level certification should be applied on Enchanting Myanmar Health & Safety Protocol Website launched by the ministry.
After receiving the national level certification, the tourists will lodge with confidence. And then, union minister cordially greeted the attendees.
Next, the union minister inspected Myanmar International Convention Center-1 and the responsible officials from Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee clarified the work implementations and maintenance works.
The union minister instructed to prepare for being readiness to hold the national level ceremonies and meetings at any time.
