Inspection of Hotels: Hotels in State-Guest-House compound inspected

Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung inspected hotels within the State Guest House compound in Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning of August 6th.

First, the general managers and officials of the hotels presented on the status of the hotels' cleanliness and aesthetics, the renovation of buildings and rooms damaged by an earthquake, and the operational status of the businesses.

In response to the presentations, the Union Minister instructed them to ensure that the renovation of the earthquake-damaged hotels and buildings is done safely and according to established standards. He also urged them to complete the renovations of the buildings and rooms as quickly as possible so that they are ready for the tourist season and can provide 100% service. He called on all levels of hotel officials to work together to develop the hotel industry in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Union Minister then inspected the services being provided to guests, the preparations for opening new facilities, the small-scale organic farms within the hotel compounds, and the use of solar energy systems.
