Inspection of Factories: Union Minister for Industry makes inspection in Yangon

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected factories in Yangon Region. First, on the August 27, the Union Minister inspected the Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) in Insein Township of Yangon Region.

During the inspection, the Union Minister urged concerned officials to carry out our duties seriously, to focus on being able to produce and deliver the orders of the ministries on time, to hold workshops to improve the skills and knowledge of the employees involved in manufacturing, to provide hands-on training to ensure that existing technologies are not lost, and to process the production of new generation professionals, technicians and experts.

Later the day, the Union Minister inspected the No. 24 Heavy Industry (Dagon) in Dagon Myothit (South) Township. There, he called on officials to manage the existing resources, land, infrastructure and machines.

On August 28, the Union Minister continued his inspection trip to the Rubber Products Factory (Thingangyun) in Thingangyun Township and called for efforts for production of new products, updating the technologies and cooperating with relevant ministries before inspecting rubber products production process.

On the same day, the Union Minister visited the he Pharmaceutical Factory (Insein) in Insein Township of Yangon Region to inspect preparations for a museum and old machines on display and manufacturing of medicine bottles.
