







The Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, General Ye Win Oo, accompanied by Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief (Air Force) Lt-Gen Tun Win, and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, inspected staff, operational, logistical, regional security, and law enforcement implementation status of the East Command Tuesday morning.
First, at the Regional Command's meeting hall, the Commander of Regional Command briefed on the history of the East Command, the security, territorial control, and law enforcement implementation status within the Command's area, and the implementation status of the Regional Command's staff, operational, and logistical functions. Based on the briefings, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services provided guidance on necessary actions to be undertaken within the Regional Command's area.
Additionally, in the morning, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, General Ye Win Oo, met with and addressed officers, ranks, and family members from the Taunggyi station at the Regional Command hall. In the afternoon, he separately met with and addressed officers, ranks, and family members from the Hsihseng and Pangyin stations at their respective local headquarters halls.
During these meetings, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, elaborated in his address that the military was ready during critical periods for the nation and was able to prevent the country from falling apart. He stated that to remain constantly ready, it is necessary to train well to have a capable military.
Rather than uniting only when important, one must have the spirit of unity at all times, whether the situation is critical or not. Based on love of country and love of the Tatmadaw, one must be loyal to oneself, loyal to one's family, loyal to one's surroundings and community, loyal to the Tatmadaw, and loyal to the state.
Following his address, he coordinated with responsible officials on necessary matters based on individual presentations from officers, ranks, and wives of personnel. After the meetings, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services provided foodstuff for the officers, ranks, and families, while his wife, Daw Nila, presented cash assistance for the maternal and child welfare associations.
The Regional Commander and responsible officials received the provisions accordingly. Subsequently, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and officials cordially greeted the officers, ranks, and families who had gathered from the respective stations. Following the meetings, the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and officials inspected the units and formations within the Hsihseng and Pangyin stations by motorcade, and cordially greeted the families of Tamadaw personnel, it’s reported.
