Inspection of Development Works: SSPC Chairman inspected development works

Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by officials inspected the progress of City development and reconstruction works in Nay Pyi Taw Council area on Sunday.

At the construction side of People’s Square and Entertainment Square near City hall and Pyinmanar-TaungNyo  8-lanes road, SSPC Chairman heard the status of contruction reported by Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials. In his response to the report, SSPC Chairman said efforts should be made to enable the holding of the festivals and events in the Squares and to design the statues of prominent historical figures of Myanmar to install as well as to check the quality of construction.

SSPC Chairman then viewed around the construction sides of Squares and instructed the necessaries. Next, SSPC Chairman and party arrived at the land plot designated to build an Arch Entrance of Nay Pyi Taw on the Yarzathingaha road where the Senior General stressed the needs reported by the officials.

 Afterwards, SSPC Chairman inspected the road along Yarzathingaha to Nay Pyi Taw Airport road, Yangon- Mandalya old road and around Nay Pyi Taw area via motorcade. At the dais of Nay Pyi Taw grand military review square, the SSPC Chairman observed the maintainacne of the facility damaged by earthquake and instructed the officials to conduct measures for upgrading it.

The SSPC Chairman and party also viewed the progress of reconstruction of buildings in Hluttaw compound.  At the bridge No.1 to the entrance of Hluttaw,  Union Minister for Construction and officials reported the progress of reconstruction of bridge by 3D Synchronise jack technology and  completion, in which the SSPC Chairman guided the necessaries.

The SSPC Chairman then observed the reconstruction of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw building where the Union Minister for Construction presented the status of damaged buildings, roads, fences and retaining walls including PyiDaungSu, PyiThu and Amyothar Hluttaws buildings, and progress of the reconstruction.

Upon the presentation, the SSPC Chairman said it is necessary to maintain step by step sytematically, to ensure long-term stability and strength. He added that record should be maintained systematically regarding the damage and completion of the reconstruction. Later, the SSPC Chairman and party observed the reconsturction of buildings, roads and bridges in the Hluttaw compound.
