Inspection of Development Works: Sagaing Region CM inspected development works

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and officials conducted a series of inspections and attended local development events in Kanbalu Township on February 2.

The Chief Minister first visited the Kanbalu Gardening Farm under the Department of Agriculture. After listening to progress reports from officials, the Chief Minister coordinated necessary requirements and toured the plantation to observe the current cultivation status.

Then, they proceeded to the No. (5) Basic Education Middle School in Kanbalu, where the Chief Minister inspected the school facilities and coordinated with officials to address the school's needs.

At No. (1) Basic Education High School, the Chief Minister presented 1 million Kyats as an honorary award to the school’s drum and bugle corps. During a meeting with district/township education officers and teachers, the Regional Education Officer briefed the Chief Minister on teaching activities across various townships for the current academic year. The Chief Minister provided guidance, presented an additional 1 million Kyats for the faculty, and cordially greeted the teachers.

The Chief Minister also visited the Government Technical Institute (GTI) in Kanbalu to inspect the progress of a 470-foot asphalt road being paved at the school entrance.

Later, he attended the opening ceremony of a Men’s Barbering Course at Shwe See Myaing Hall in the District General Administration Office. The course is a joint initiative between the Region Youth Affairs Committee and the Kanbalu District Management and Administrative Committee.

The Chief Minister delivered the opening address and the lead instructor explained the curriculum and subjects to be taught.

The Chief Minister presented 18 million Kyats to the District Chairman for the trainees.

The Region Minister for Natural Resources presented barbering equipment and kits to a representative of the trainees.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials warmly greeting the attendees and trainees, it’s reported.
