






On the morning of February 11th, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, along with Nay Pyi Taw Council members and relevant departmental officials, inspected the reconstruction progress of damaged women's dormitory and staff housing buildings that were affected by the earthquake and are being rebuilt using the Nay Pyi Taw Council's reserve fund for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, within Zabuthiri Township.
First, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman inspected the construction status of six-unit, four-story reinforced concrete buildings for staff housing (2-bedroom) being built using the Nay Pyi Taw Council's reserve fund for the 2024-2025 fiscal year in the Nyana Theidi ward, Zabuthiri Township.
He then inspected the construction status of a six-unit, four-story reinforced concrete building for staff housing and a two-story reinforced concrete building for women's dormitory being built using the same fund within the Nay Pyi Taw Council office compound. After the inspections, he directed the responsible persons to expedite the completion of the projects by increasing manpower and machinery, to carry out the work in accordance with set standards and norms to ensure long-term durability, and to implement measures ensuring resilience not only against earthquakes but also against other natural disaster hazards, it’s reported.
