




Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Bo Bo Kyaw and officials, inspected the work site of the Students' Recreation Center project (162 feet in length x 90 feet in width) under construction in the Yezin Universities Area in the afternoon of December 9.
While inspecting the project works, the Union Minister instructed the responsible officials to ensure the construction results in a high-quality building that complies with sports regulations and standards, to ensure the sports court flooring is durable with a long-lasting load-bearing capacity, to systematically plan the placement of shops in advance, to complete the work within the specified timeframe, and to address matters related to a green, pleasant environment and good drainage.
It is learned that the Students' Recreation Center project under construction in the Yezin Universities Area is 77% complete overall to date. Subsequently, the Union Minister inspected the ongoing upgrade and construction work for the 520-seat spectator stand (204 feet in length x 36 feet in width) and the 400-meter running track at the Agricultural University football field. He then discussed and gave instructions to the responsible officials regarding necessary work-related requirements.
