Inspection CATI: MoTC DM inspected CATI in Yangon

The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Communications U Aung Kyaw Tun, visited the Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI) in Yangon in the morning on August 25 and met with officials and staff in the main hall.

The Principal of CATI, U Kyaw Soe Moe, briefed the Deputy Minister on the institute's operations. The Deputy Minister gave necessary instructions regarding the work and provided food and refreshments to the staff.

Afterward, the Deputy Minister and officials toured the institute. They were shown the Airfield Lighting Room which is a model display of aerodrome layouts and runway lighting. Communication & Navigations Aids Room which is the Demonstrations of DOVR equipment and HF/VHF radios. 270-degree 3D ATC TOWER SIMULATOR Room which is a demonstration on the newly installed simulator.

The Deputy Minister also observed the No. 44 and No. 45 Aerodrome Control Rating Training Courses, the Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Leadership Course 2/2025, and the Computer Lab Room. He also viewed the display of aircraft firefighting equipment. Throughout his tour, he gave necessary instructions to the officials.
