Inle Floating Market: Reopening On Dec. 21 In Line With COVID Guidelines

Inle Floating Market will be reopened in line with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. It’s reported that the floating market in Hae Yar Ywar Ma Village of Nyaungshwe Township in Shan State will be reopened on the 21st of December 2021.

Although the local and foreign travellers are interested in Inle floating market, the sellers from the floating market have moved their shops onto the land because there is no water in summer in the lake.

The Inle floating market returned to a revival after missing for more than a decade, starting from the first week of October last year but was closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
