Information Sector: Union Minister addresses training opening

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Tuesday addressed the opening of the 2nd video recording and editing, documentary photography and news writing training.

In his address at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the Union Minister said that his ministry is working hard to spread true news among the public amid fake news and misinformation on Facebook.

The news value increases depending on the skill of the presenter in describing a process.

It is necessary for the trainees to learn how to record and present in order to describe the activities of each ministry for the benefit of the state and the people.

The Union Minister also urged the trainees to share what they will learn in this training.

The training is designed to cover such courses as camera functions, news and documentary recording, editing, news writing and dos and don’ts for online news writers.

46 officers and staff from 12 ministries joined this 2nd training which will take place till the 11th of November. The 1st training was opened in September and joined by 48 officers and staff from ministries.
