Information Sector: Deputy Minister inspects IPRDs

Regarding the information sector, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint inspected the office of Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD) in Kyaukpadaung Township of Mandalay Region.

There, he held meetings with the head and staff of the Department and the head of Popa retransmission station.

Also, in the meetings with the heads and staff of Nyaung-U and Pakokku District IPRDs, the Deputy Minister gave instructions on work process and urged them to emphasize information and education measures, cooperate with relevant departments in improvement of youths, and attract the people to public libraries for raising reading habit and increasing readers.

The Deputy Minister also donated robes and cash for nine prerequisites to monasteries in Lanywa Village-tract of Pakokku Township, visited libraries of the villages and donated books.

There, he also met with the village administrator and the headmistress of the middle school and the teachers to discuss peace and tranquility of the area, development and improvement of youths.
