Industrial Development : Visiting Agricultural Machinery and Textile Factories

Union Ministers U Ko Ko Lwin and Dr. Charlie Than, along with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials, visited the Myanmar Agricultural Machinery Factory (Inkone) in Kyaukse Township on Friday. They heard reports on the production of farm machinery, improvements in agro-based industry, and producing quality equipment to support Myanmar’s agriculture sector.

The Union Ministers called for systematic manufacturing, technical upgrades, and closer collaboration with MSMEs to meet national needs.

They then viewed the installation of machinery and farm implement, manufactured by the factory. In the afternoon, Union Minister Dr. Charlie Than visited No. 36 Heavy Industry (Kyaukse) and No. 8 Garment Factory (Yamethin), where he inspected operation processes and urged proper maintenance, staff training, and high-quality production to meet annual targets.
