Industrial Collaboration : Meeting with Russian experts in Pangpet Factory

On 13th December, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, accompanied by concerned officials, visited No. 2 Steel Mill (Pangpet) in Taunggyi of Shan State.

The Union Minister met with the experts and specialists from Russian National Science and Technology University and StalProekt at Romelt Technology Iron Smelting Workshop. During the meeting, they made discussions on equipment and machines restoration process, test operation of the workshops, necessary equipment installation at the Romelt workshop, sufficient machine and equipment for timely operation of the workshop as well as further collaboration between the two nations for closer relations.
