Indonesian President-Elect Prabowo visits Malaysia

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim received Indonesian president-elect and Defence Minister PrabowoSubianto, who is on a visit to Malaysiaon Thursday.

Their meeting discussed the next direction to be taken to strengthen Malaysia-Indonesia ties. They also took the opportunity to share their experiences and exchange views on their political journeys.Prabowo and his delegation who arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, is also scheduled to attend a closed-door meeting with Malaysian Defence Minister.

This is his first visit to Malaysia after being announced as the official winner of the Indonesian Presidential Election for the 2024-2029 term.
