India's Foreign Secretary on Bangladesh visits

India's Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra is on a two-day official state visit to Bangladesh since Wednesday.

He paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday. During his visit, he will also hold a meeting with his Bangladesh counterpart.

Discussion on bilateral ties including political and security, water, trade and investment, power and energy, defence, connectivity and sub-regional cooperation is on the agenda.
