The Indian Air Force carried out a helicopter mission in the Pitapool area of Arunachal Pradesh under challenging weather and terrain conditions. The operation delivered 350 kilograms of relief material, including a rescue boat, and inducted personnel from the National Disaster Response Force to support rescue and relief efforts.

Six districts in northeastern Arunachal Pradesh have been cut off after heavy rainfall during the night of June 23 and 24 triggered flash floods and landslides. Chief Minister Pema Khandu said officials across all 28 districts have been directed to remain prepared for monsoon-related challenges. Meanwhile, Assam has issued a high alert amid concerns over rising river levels following the floods in Arunachal Pradesh.
