Illegal Trade: Illegalgoods And Masks Seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On14, 17 and 18 July, illegal goods andundocumented sandals, cosmetics and masks were seized at the Yepu Permanent Checkpoint and at the Kawkareik(Tadakyoe) Combined Checkpoint as well as in Mawlamyint Township area. In total,illegal goods and masks worth over 51 million Kyats were seized on 14, 17 and 18 July. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
