Illegal Trade: Illegal timber, goods and vehicles seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 20th, 21st and 22nd of October, illegal timber, jewellery, construction materials and vehicles were seized in industrial zone 2 of South Dagon Township and on the Myawaddy-Hpa-An Road as well as in Maungdaw Township and in Taungoo District.

In total, illegal timber, goods and vehicles worth about 300 million Kyats were confiscated. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
