Illegal Trade: Illegal Security Force Accessories, Goods, Vehicles Seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th of August, illegal security force accessories, electronic equipment, motorcycle spare parts, tug-boat, timber, foodstuffs and unregistered vehicles were seized at the 16th Mile Kyaukchaw checkpoint and in Sinbaungwe Township, in Myothit Township, at the ThinganNyinaung checkpoint as well as in Sagaing Township and Pyay Township.

In total, illegal security force accessories, goods and vehicles worth over 355 million Kyats were seized. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
