Illegal Trade: Illegal goods, timber, motroboats and vehicle seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 11, 13, 14 and 15 of July, illegal petroleum, unregistered motorboats and vehicle, undeclared household appliances and illegal electronic products, consumer goods, car parts and timber were seized in Minbu Township, in Minhla Township and at the container terminal of Myanmar Industrial Port as well as in Muse Township, Pathein Township, Maubin Township and in Bago District.

In total, illegal goods and timber and unregistered motorboats and vehicle worth over 121 million Kyats were seized on the 11, 13, 14 and 15 of July. Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
