Illegal Trade: Illegal consumber goods, vehicle and timbers seized

Under the supervision of Anti-illegal Trade Steering Committee, concerned officials have been making inspections on trade.

On the 25th, 26th and 27th of January, illegal consumber goods, commodities, vehicle and timbers worth over 458 million Kyats were confiscated in Paung Township, at Myanmar Industrial Container Checkpoint, at the Yangon International Airport warehouse and at the Thingannyinaung Gate as well as on Pyay Road in Mayangon Township and in Sagaing and Bago regions.

Investigation is underway and legal actions have been taken in line with the laws.
