Iceland's PM BjarniBenediktsson votes in Snap Election

Icelandic Prime Minister BjarniBenediktsson cast his vote in Saturday's legislative election at a polling station set up in the Myrin sports center in a southern suburb of Reykjavik.

With the economy at the forefront of voters' concerns, key campaign issues have included battling inflation, high interest rates, housing, and healthcare. Voting stations opened at 9:00 AM local time and most will remain open to 10:00 PM.
