Hundreds of cars stuck in traffic jam at Crimea bridge

Crimean residents and tourists who planned a trip for the New Year holidays faced a long wait in a traffic jam at the entrance to the Crimea bridge on Friday due to enhanced security measures. About 1,200 cars waited in a three kilometer long line for inspection to cross the bridge from Crimea to the Krasnodar region.

According to local authorities, the waiting time on Friday was approximately four hours. Some people who were heading to Crimea from the Krasnodar region complained on social media that they were stuck for up to 10 hours on Thursday night.
