Polling stations open in North Macedonia double elections

Polling stations opened on Wednesday in the parliamentary election in North Macedonia, which is being held in parallel with the second round of the presidential election. The results will determine who runs the country for the next four years.

A total of 3,580 polling stations opened at 7am for the double election in which some 1.8 million people have the right to vote. Polling stations will close at 7pm and the preliminary results are expected close to midnight, while official results are expected to be declared on Thursday.
